In recent years, DuckDuckGo has been growing more and more actively. Only in August 2020, the search engine reported receiving 2,000,000,000 search queries per month on a regular basis. Although these numbers are small compared to the 5,000,000,000 daily Google searches, it is still a sure sign that users are looking for alternatives and have become more concerned about privacy and privacy.
Also, the development of the search engine significantly accelerated after it went beyond its own site and is now offered in the format of mobile applications for Android and iOS, as well as a special extension for Chrome. This application has already been installed by more than 4,000,000 users.
